Youth Backcountry Camp

Youth Backcountry Camp

New Partnership with Tahoe Rim Trail Association

We are very excited about our new partnership with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA)! Zephyr Point is working closely with TRTA to hire a certified, skilled, and relational team of guides. There are a variety of backpacking expeditions possible, all on the Tahoe Rim Trail. Each session campers and guides will hike and camp within the diverse forests, wide open grass meadows, granite cliffs and alpine lakes throughout the Lake Tahoe Region. This is a unique summer adventure, designed to campers an opportunity to learn the skills of backcountry camping.

If you are familiar with the High Camp program, that we have run in previous years, considering learning more about the options TRTA has available for you! These Youth Backcountry Camps are an educational and exciting adventure for students of all abilities and experience levels.

All backpacking equipment needed such as, packs, tents, stoves, etc. will be provided. See you outside!

Check out the Tahoe Rim Trail Association Youth Backcountry Camps webpage for more info!
