Can anyone rent the cabins at Zephyr Point?

Yes, they are available for private guest rentals.

Do your cabins have fully stocked kitchens?

Yes, each cabin has a full kitchen with all the basic items needed to prepare and serve meals.

What are the nightly stay requirements in the cabins?

Our cabins have a 7 night minimum requirement Memorial Day to Labor Day, a 3 night minimum requirement during holiday periods, and a 2 night minimum requirement at all other times. We do not book single night stays in the cabins.

What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?

If your reservation is canceled outside of 30 days of your stay, the $100 deposit is forfeited. If you must cancel after your stay is paid in full, inside of 30 days, then we are only able to refund the canceled nights that we are able to sell.

What happens if there is poor air quality?

Lake Tahoe is a high fire risk area. On occasion, smoke will settle into the Tahoe Basin from wildfires across the West Coast, typically in late summer or early fall. While poor air quality would not necessitate the closure of Zephyr Point, guests with confirmed reservations may have the option to reschedule if certain conditions are met.

If the air quality index at Zephyr Point is in the unhealthy range or higher (above 150), cabin reservations arriving the following day or the day after can choose to cancel. The deposit remains nonrefundable and nontransferable, but any additional monies paid may be transferred to another reservation within the same calendar year. If the amount of the new booking is less than the original, the difference is nonrefundable. The decision to cancel must be submitted in writing by the primary contact to the Cabin Office no later than 3:00 PM the day before arrival.

What should I bring for my cabin stay?

Please bring pillow cases, sheets and towels as well as briquettes if you plan to use the BBQ and flat bottom coffee filters for the coffee maker.
