Featured Presenters: Revs. Rob McClellan and Sherri Hausser

Rob McClellan is the Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon, CA, just north of San Francisco. Born and raised in the Midwest, Rob grew up in the Presbyterian Church and also had formative spiritual experiences at a large YMCA camp. Prior to coming to Westminster, he served as a solo pastor in a smaller urban congregation and an associate pastor in a large suburban congregation, both in the Philadelphia area. He has worked with youth, college students, and has participated in a number of interfaith programs.

Rob has a passion for the environment, outdoor ministry, and is drawn to Celtic Christianity. In his doctoral work and ministry, Rob has explored pilgrimage as a spiritual practice, and has been both a pilgrimage participant and leader.

Rob has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa, a M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, a M.A. in Rhetoric from the University of Wisconsin, a MDiv. from Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA) and a D. Together, they have a son, Liam, born in 2012.

Sherri Hausser is a founding member of the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia where she served on the Executive Committee and Board for 10 years. She has also served on the board of The Journal of Ecumenical Studies and Dialogue Institute, the Board of Trustees at McCormick Theological Seminary, the PC (USA) General Assembly Council on Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, and represented the PC (USA) on the National Council of Churches Interfaith Relations Committee. She has appeared numerous times on NBC’s Today Show alongside Rabbi Irwin Kula to discuss life in a multi-faith world. Sherri has a B.A. from the American University’s School of International Service and an M. Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary.

Sherri is passionate about the environment and enjoys hiking and rowing. She is certified in basic wildlife rehabilitation and trained as a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist. Sherri loves to travel, having spent time in over 43 countries, including more than two years spent as an exchange student in Japan. Sherri launched the Center for Innovation at San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2013. Prior to that, she served for twelve years as an Associate Pastor at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, in Pennsylvania where her responsibilities included Adult Education, Worldwide Ministries, Local Outreach and Interfaith Partnerships.
