Jr. High Summer Basecamp
Zephyr Point Summer Basecamps
High School and Jr. High Basecamps at Zephyr Point are designed for students who know deep inside that there is something bigger than themselves. They are for students who feel that there is something still to be discovered about life and what it means to fully live instead of merely growing accustomed to the mundane routine of it all. Situated on the shoreline of Lake Tahoe, Zephyr Point is a place where students can develop eyes that can see and ears that can hear in order to reconnect them with both who God created them to be and the purposes He has for their lives. It’s more than a week at camp. It’s an opportunity to get away from it all to engage Jesus Christ and the redemptive narrative of His Gospel!
Basecamp is loaded with all the activities that a summer on Lake Tahoe can provide, but the emphasis is built around a week of Christian ministry with high intensity and deep integrity. Here at Zephyr Point, we believe that youth are not merely the “future” of the church, rather they are the church right now! Therefore, youth need to be encouraged to discover what it is that God is calling them to by first understanding who He created them to be and the life into which they’ve been set free through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ!
Jr. High Summer Basecamp
Jr. High Basecamp is an exciting chance for you to get out of the house and come to Lake Tahoe for a week filled to the brim with activity! What better way to spend a week of your summer than meeting new friends, jumping of our dock into one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, playing wild games, and discovering what faith in Jesus Christ is all about? We know Junior High is a crazy time, and we want to give you the opportunity to be yourself, have some fun, and ask the tough questions about faith and life. Our staff will be waiting to hang out and have a great time, so get together some friends, and come on up! Jr. High Basecamp is for 6th graders through graduated 8th graders.
