Dreams become Reality ...

First, the site work. Removal of a few ancient cabins. Clearing and leveling for the massive foundations to support three stories totaling over 33,500 square feet of conference space.

Then, the new roadway. Trucks of dirt and boulders going out, countless loads of cement coming in. Each skilled trade taking its turn doing the heaviest construction from bulldozing to beams.

Now a skeleton emerges. Timbers and concrete rise from the trees, close to the edge of the Lake.   And finally the Tallac Center is a reality.

But the work is not done!

The numbers of furnishings for the new Tallac Center are mind-boggling!  It takes 75 tables ($150) and 500 chairs ($40) to seat everyone! Think 126 beds and mattresses; sheets, towels, and window coverings for the 59 double queen or triple queen guest rooms. It costs $2900 to outfit each guest room.  The dining room requires 250 place settings at $30 each (dishes, glasses, silverware).  Our restaurant-size kitchen needs equipment. Don't forget projectors and pianos.

Your financial support is sought so Zephyr Point may "Build the Future - Grow in Faith".  Join in taking the next bold step.    100 percent of gifts, donations, and grants will go directly to the project.
